Walmart and Wing will start drone deliveries around Denver and Seattle in 2027, bringing their planned network to nearly 20 US metros. Only five of those markets are live so far, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Orlando, where more than 3 million customers can get Walmart orders flown to them in about 30 minutes. The two companies are working toward more than 270 Walmart stores and about 40 million customers. But the Denver suburbs of Parker and Castle Rock paused approvals for drone hubs while they study noise and privacy complaints, according to Axios.
