OpenAI opened a waitlist for Premium seats on ChatGPT Business, priced at $125 per user each month or $100 on an annual plan, against the $25 and $20 that Standard seats keep charging. Premium carries five times the usage of Standard and drops the five-hour cap, resetting weekly instead. Workspaces can run both seat types at once and shift people between them, and owners can buy shared credits for anyone who runs dry. OpenAI is handing the first 10,000 eligible Business customers $100 in workspace credits for each Premium seat, up to five seats, with the offer closing August 20. Premium isn’t generally available yet, though OpenAI says some who join the waitlist will get in early.
