Circeus acquired Dondy, a conversational commerce platform that ranks as the top WhatsApp app on the Shopify App Store, for undisclosed terms. Dondy will sit inside Shop Circle, Circeus’s agentic commerce software division, and brings with it more than 70,000 businesses running marketing campaigns, automations, and AI agent support across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and website chat. The platform handles over one million customer conversations and more than $100M in orders a year, with 70% of AI agent conversations resolved without human help, according to Circeus. Circeus plans to extend Dondy’s agents to email, TikTok, and Telegram, add automated campaign creation and proactive outreach, and push the product up-market toward enterprise customers and into Latin America. Shop Circle now serves more than 150 countries.
