Brij, an AI-powered commerce-data platform that helps brands capture customer data through offline and packaging touchpoints, added Sophie Rose, an OpenAI go-to-market leader, to its advisory board. CEO and co-founder Kait Stephens said Rose was an early OpenAI GTM hire who helped launch ChatGPT Enterprise, and now advises enterprises on AI adoption and go-to-market strategy. Rose is pushing Brij to build for everyday operators rather than data scientists, arguing that tools like ChatGPT and Claude let non-technical users query and act on data without knowing SQL or how to navigate a data warehouse. Stephens said the guidance is shaping Brij toward being AI-native, with Rose challenging the team to adapt to the agent era rather than fitting the mold of legacy data warehouses.
