Walmart launched a $120 annual membership that combines Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus, giving customers free delivery from both chains, member prices at Sam’s Club, their pick of Peacock or Paramount+, gas discounts, and 2% back in Sam’s Cash. Anyone who already has Sam’s Club Plus gets Walmart+ at no extra cost, while annual Walmart+ members can switch to the bundle for $22 more a year, and people already paying for both can get a prorated refund. CEO John Furner pitched the bundle against paying $139 a year for delivery from a retailer and $130 for a warehouse club, which are the prices of Amazon Prime and Costco’s Executive membership.
