Splitit launched Splitit Go, a mobile solution that lets merchants offer installment payment options during face-to-face sales by splitting purchases across a customer's existing credit card rather than requiring a new credit application or redirecting to a third-party BNPL platform. The product targets high-value in-person sales scenarios like field services, medical consultations, and automotive repair, where affordability concerns can delay or kill a sale but installment options have historically been unavailable. Splitit says the addressable opportunity covers more than $4.6T in annual U.S. services spending across home services, medical and dental, automotive, and specialty retail.
