Splitit launches a white-label World Mastercard that lets mid-sized banks and credit unions build installments into a credit card

Splitit is launching a credit card called the Splitit World Mastercard, which midsize banks and credit unions can issue under their own brand starting in early 2027. Cardholders pay off ordinary purchases within 30 days, but they can pick a dollar threshold in the app above which purchases are automatically split into monthly installments, and they can switch any purchase to full payment or change its plan before the statement is due. Splitit supplies the installment technology and an app experience that banks embed in their own apps, so smaller lenders can offer pay-over-time without building a lending business themselves. Splitit hasn’t disclosed what interest or fees the installment plans carry.
