Sparkli raises $5M for AI learning engine founded by Google alums

Sparkli, a Zurich-based edtech startup, raised $5 million in pre-seed funding to develop a multimodal AI learning platform for children. Founded by former Google executives, the system generates interactive educational “expeditions” that replace static text with visuals and simulations. The company is currently piloting the software with a global school network and plans to launch a consumer version in June 2026.
