SoftBank and Intel partner on next-gen memory technology

SAIMEMORY, a SoftBank subsidiary, signed a collaborative agreement with Intel to commercialize Z-Angle Memory for AI applications. The partners are leveraging Intel's validated technical expertise to develop high-bandwidth chips that reduce power consumption in data centers. The collaboration is aiming to deliver prototypes by 2028 with plans to reach full commercialization by the 2029 fiscal year.
