Shopify updated its POS Smart Grid editor to let merchants select from available discount codes via a dropdown menu when creating Discount tiles, replacing the previous manual text entry that was prone to typos and mismatches. Each tile is now directly linked to a valid discount code from the Shopify admin, ensuring the correct logic, eligibility rules, and values are applied automatically at checkout.
