Scanntech, a Uruguay-founded company that collects sales data straight from store checkout systems across Latin America, raised a $180 million Series F led by L Catterton, with Partners Group joining later as co-lead. Scanntech turns individual receipts into market data that consumer goods makers, retailers, and distributors use to set prices, plan promotions, choose what to stock, and manage inventory, and its clients include over 600 manufacturers across Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and other countries. Scanntech plans to spend the money on AI analytics tools and on moving into new countries and product categories.
