OuterSignal acquired Monocle, an AI-powered lifecycle marketing platform that replaces rules-based flows with autonomous customer journeys across email, SMS, and web. OuterSignal's platform uses agents to harness publicly available data to identify and segment customers, while Monocle's AI agents evaluate purchase intent, discount sensitivity, and engagement timing for each shopper, then act without waiting for a marketer to build a flow. Co-founder and CEO Zach Zelner said OuterSignal tells brands who their customers are, while Monocle takes action with that intelligence, letting marketers scale 1:1 experiences agentically. Monocle co-founder and CEO Noam Szpiro said the fit was obvious because OuterSignal's upstream customer intelligence approach makes Monocle's product more powerful. Existing Monocle customers will keep using the product without disruption, with OuterSignal taking over account management and support immediately and deeper platform integration planned over time. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
