OpenAI stated in a court filing that it will not ship its upcoming AI hardware device before February 2027. The company confirmed it is abandoning the “io” brand name after facing a trademark lawsuit from Iyo, an audio technology startup. The device, developed in partnership with former Apple designer Jony Ive, is currently undergoing a branding reevaluation.
