OpenAI added three workplace tools to ChatGPT at its DevDay conference that put it up against Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Space is a shared team workspace that holds documents and files like a drive, where teams work with ChatGPT and OpenAI’s new dots agents, and it’s rolling out now to Pro, Business, and Enterprise users on web and desktop. Pages is a document format for people and agents to edit together, with research, charts, and images built in. A collaborative slides tool turns a conversation in ChatGPT into a deck that people and agents can then comment on and edit, and OpenAI said it will roll out in the next few weeks.
