nFOX Lab, a self-funded AI security startup, came out of stealth with a platform for deploying and monitoring open models on a company’s own servers, and plans to release its Blockhouse sandbox for free under the Apache 2.0 license, according to Paul Gillin at SiliconANGLE. Blockhouse treats every model as potentially hostile, so it strips a workload’s access to files and network destinations by default at the Linux kernel level and lets administrators grant permissions back one at a time. Founder and CEO Gordon Allott said nFOX will charge an annual license for the management platform, and that it already has paying pilot customers.
