What is My Stories?

At My Stories, we enhance Shopify product pages with engaging, story-like videos similar to those seen on Instagram. Our app helps customers visualize themselves using your products which boost engagement. We make it effortless to bring your products to life.

Are you funded?

No, we're bootstrapped.

Who do you serve?

We serve Shopify stores using video ads for customer acquisition, helping them repurpose videos on product pages to boost engagement and conversion.

What's standout about My Stories?

As CRO experts with in-house engineers, we built our app to improve conversion rates without impacting page loading time, ensuring no negative effect on SEO.

What's next at My Stories?

Our vision is to build applications that positively impact our clients' conversion rates. Currently, we are focusing on My Stories, emphasizing user behavior analysis to adapt and improve the app's design.

Next on the roadmap is advanced analytics to provide deeper insights into video engagement and performance. This will help clients optimize their video content.

As a French company, we primarily communicate with French stores but are keen on expanding into the American market. This includes targeted marketing campaigns and local partnerships to better serve U.S. clients.

We're open to raising funds to accelerate growth, scale development, enhance marketing strategies, and expand our team to support our growing user base.

What's next in your niche?

The future of e-commerce is all about video. This format is going to blow up in the next few years, whether it's through live streaming or showcasing products via VOD. Those who get how to build and boost their brand through video are going to come out on top.

We're seeing some cool advancements on the horizon, like shoppable videos where customers can buy stuff directly from the video content, and better AI-driven personalization to tailor videos to each user. Plus, immersive tech like AR and VR is set to change how people interact with products online, making experiences even more engaging and interactive.

Who should I interview next?

Samuel Roy. He is currently working on a big project: building an AI that is directly integrated into MacOS

What's one thing the public doesn't know about your professional background that has led you to this point in your career?

I created a SaaS on marketing automation for e-commerce and sold my shares in 2016, learning a lot about business and SaaS. In 2018, I launched another SaaS focusing on video reviews to boost conversion rates. After a year, my co-founder left. My Stories is my third SaaS product, driven by my passion for impactful solutions. Last but not least, I've lived in France, Italy, Scotland, Germany, and Japan, where my second son was born.

What's one thing you wish more people paid attention to in the world?

I wish people paid more attention to those around them, like the Japanese do. This includes family, neighbors, and strangers. The Japanese are great at this, often putting the community before themselves. In Japan, no one cuts in line, and help is offered when you seem lost. Simple acts of kindness and consideration can make a big difference in our daily lives and foster a stronger sense of community.
