Moove, a startup that manages Waymo’s robotaxi fleets and finances ride-hailing vehicles, is preparing to raise $300 million to expand its autonomous vehicle operations in the U.S. The Dubai-based company recently reached $360 million in annualized revenue, up from $115 million a year ago, largely from financing Uber drivers. Moove also now services Waymo’s fleets in Phoenix and will manage operations in Miami. The upcoming raise would push its valuation past $1 billion and support the rollout of additional robotaxi depots. Moove, which employs 2,100 people globally, sees future growth in leasing fleets of autonomous vehicles to independent operators and businesses.
