Mimir, an Oslo-based startup, raised a $600k pre-seed round led by Sondo Capital, alongside Nordic tech and e-commerce angels, to expand its AI-native platform for B2C e-commerce. Founded in 2024, Mimir handles about 250,000 customer conversations a month for roughly 60 brands across five countries, including VILLOID, HiFi Klubben, and Holzweiler, with agents that understand orders, deliveries, returns, and products and resolve issues end-to-end rather than just deflecting tickets. The company said it will use the capital to accelerate product development and double its team, framing customer support as a starting point toward automating broader e-commerce operations. Notably, Mimir was already profitable and had grown roughly 7x over the past year without outside funding, raising only after inbound interest from investors and customers.
