Lightspeed built an integration that pushes transactions from its retail POS into Meta’s Conversions API, so a shop can see which Facebook and Instagram ads actually moved product off its shelves. Merchants connect a store to Meta, sync the in-store catalog automatically, and send sales data across without running an online store or hand-formatting spreadsheets. Store-only retailers get tools that until now belonged to online sellers, promoting in-stock items, retargeting local shoppers, and counting the sales an ad produced. Omnichannel merchants already buying Meta ads get cleaner reporting, and Meta’s optimization can work against combined online and in-store revenue instead of the web half alone. Lightspeed, a Canadian company founded in 2005, sells POS software to retail, golf, and hospitality businesses in more than 100 countries.
