Levata, an enterprise technology platform serving retail and other industries, acquired POSDATA Group for undisclosed terms to expand into payment technologies for retail and hospitality customers. POSDATA is a US distributor for major payment terminal makers like Verifone, Ingenico, and PAX, and runs a certified encryption key injection facility, adding terminal deployment, key injection, and returns management to Levata's lineup. The deal lets Levata manage payment-terminal fleets alongside the data-capture, mobility, and networking gear it already handles for enterprise retailers, fitting an acquisition strategy that has seen it complete more than 20 deals and deploy over $400M since 2014.
