Google is expanding Search Live, its interactive voice and camera search feature within AI Mode, to more than 200 countries and territories across all languages where AI Mode is available, up from its previous limited rollout. The expansion is powered by a new audio model called Gemini 3.1 Flash Live, which supports multilingual conversations and allows users to speak queries, ask follow-up questions, and point their camera at real-world objects for visual context. The feature is accessible through the Google app on Android and iOS, as well as directly from Google Lens, and is designed for moments where typing a search query is impractical.
