Eight Mile Style, the music publisher behind Eminem's catalog, is suing Meta for allegedly using 243 of its songs across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp without securing a license. The lawsuit claims Meta knowingly committed multiple forms of copyright infringement and seeks $150,000 per song per platform, plus an injunction. Meta had attempted to license the songs via Audiam in 2020 but failed to reach an agreement. Eminem is not personally involved in the suit. Meta declined to comment.
