eBay launches its trading card price guide in the UK with in-app scanning that surfaces two years of completed sale data

eBay extended its price guide for trading cards to the UK, where collectors can now scan a card in the app and pull recent sale prices for Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, and Disney Lorcana. The guide covers raw singles plus some graded ones, drawing on as much as two years of closed sales on eBay.co.uk. Those insights are also coming to desktop and to individual card listings through a See insights option as the rollout continues. eBay launched Authenticity Guarantee for UK trading cards earlier this year, and Adam Ireland, its VP and general manager of global collectables, tied both moves to continued investment in the category. Collectables drove more of eBay’s GMV growth worldwide than any other category in Q2 2026, the company said.
