DeleteMe, an online personal data removal service, has acquired Block Party, a browser plug-in founded in 2018 by software engineer Tracy Chou that helps users deep-clean their social media presence across more than a dozen platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Venmo, and X. Block Party originally launched as a Twitter harassment protection tool but pivoted after Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter made API access prohibitively expensive for the startup, eventually evolving into a broader cross-platform privacy tool. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, and current Block Party users will see no immediate changes as the two products are gradually integrated.
