BigBear.ai, a provider of AI-powered analytics for national security and defense, finalized the $250 million all-cash acquisition of Ask Sage, a generative AI platform specialized in secure government deployments. The deal integrated Ask Sage’s technology, which served over 100,000 users across 16,000 government teams, into BigBear.ai’s portfolio to accelerate the delivery of compliant AI workflows. CEO Kevin McAleenan stated the move would ensure data sovereignty for federal clients while expanding the company’s footprint in the intelligence sector.
