WPBeginner Growth Fund, the investment arm backed by OptinMonster and WPForms maker Awesome Motive, acquired email and SMS marketing platform Drip and onsite popup tool Sleeknote for an undisclosed price. Drip says it has more than 6,000 brand customers, and it connects to Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce, with an MCP server that lets merchants give Claude or ChatGPT access to their account to review results and draft campaigns. Both products will keep operating as their own unit under Drip CEO and Sleeknote co-founder Mogens Møller, and Awesome Motive says customers won’t see changes to their service. Awesome Motive’s own email team will work with Drip on more AI features and tighter links to its WPForms and MemberPress plugins.
