Ode with Anthropic bought Casper Studios, a consultancy that builds the connectors, skills, and context companies need to run Claude inside the software their staff already use. No price was given. Ode is the enterprise AI implementation company Anthropic set up this year with Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman, and Casper is the second consultancy it has absorbed since May. CEO Chris Taylor said corporate buyers have “a long tail of AI engineering needs” beyond the large custom builds Ode already handles, which is the work Casper does. The two firms had already served the same client, Sphera, and both built inside one Claude Code environment, so tools written by one team ran for the other with no rebuild.
