Amazon acquired Rightbot, a robotics startup known for developing automated truck loading and unloading technology, to strengthen its Robotics Delivery and Packaging Innovation team. The e-commerce giant previously invested $6.25 million in the company through its Industrial Innovation Fund to support its unstructured load handling capabilities. A spokesperson confirmed that the startup's employees joined Amazon to help improve operational safety and efficiency within the logistics network.
