Alibaba’s QwenWork opens an invite-only beta of its e-commerce AI agent for merchants who sell across multiple platforms in China

QwenWork, Alibaba’s AI agent for office work, opened an invite-only beta of an e-commerce edition on October 14, its first industry-specific version. The edition is aimed at multi-platform merchants, giving them one dashboard for all their stores, trend analysis matched to product selling points, bulk marketing content, and cross-channel ad return optimization. QwenWork CEO Chen Yusen is positioning it as an independent agent for sellers on any platform, with existing connections to Youzan, FastMoss, and LinkFox alongside Alibaba’s own seller tools and Alimama’s ad tools. However, the edition can’t change ad plans, spend promotion budgets, or run a store on its own yet, according to LatePost. Alibaba says it plans to add automatic alerts for inventory and ad anomalies.
