AI trading bot accidentally transfers entire memecoin supply to random user

Lobstar Wilde, an automated crypto-trading bot, transferred its entire stash of proprietary tokens to an X user who requested funds for a medical emergency. Nik Pash, an OpenAI developer, created the agent, which mistakenly sent 5% of the total supply, valued at approximately $250,000, instead of the requested small amount. Critics are warning that such “autonomous” errors could mask fraudulent activity as the recipient quickly sold the assets for a $40,000 profit.
