CoreWeave CEO Michael Intrator has sold nearly $1B of stock since its IPO as shares slide on worries over AI spending and debt

CoreWeave CEO Michael Intrator, along with two trusts and other entities tied to him, has sold over 10 million shares worth nearly $1B since CoreWeave’s March 2025 IPO, according to regulatory filings. All but about $40M of the selling ran through prearranged trading plans that sell on a fixed schedule, and the rest was shares sold to cover taxes on vested stock. Intrator started selling roughly two months after the shares peaked in June 2025, and they’ve fallen hard since then, including a roughly 24% drop this week. Investors are worried about how much CoreWeave is spending on data centers and Nvidia chips and the debt it’s taking on to pay for it, with the company now forecasting $35B to $39B in capital spending this year.
