TikTok announced a sweeping set of updates at its sixth annual TikTok World event in New York City, including an update to TopReach that merges TopView and TopFeed into a single one-day reach buy with creative sequencing, and Search Hubs, a brand-controlled destination at the top of TikTok Search results. The company also launched Branded Buzz, a new tool that lets advertisers alert eligible TikTok One creators with campaign parameters so they can submit video responses, and expanded its Symphony AI suite with enhanced image and video generation powered by Seedance 2.0 video model Dreamina, Voiceover Avatars using licensed actors’ avatars in over 30 languages, and Product Avatars that showcase products on users’ screens. Finally, TikTok Ads introduced a Model Context Protocol that lets marketers connect AI systems like Claude and ChatGPT directly to the platform, alongside new entertainment offerings including Growth Max for Mini Games and a Mini Series offering that lets entertainment brands charge for episodic content.
