Iran’s government-owned Tasnim News Agency announced Tuesday that its military would strike facilities belonging to more than a dozen U.S. tech companies across the Middle East, with attacks potentially beginning as early as Wednesday. The threats come after Iran’s military already struck cloud computing facilities owned by Amazon and Microsoft, disrupting services across the region. The strikes are framed by Iran as retaliation for U.S. efforts to target Iranian leadership.
