OpenAI confirmed that a viral video purporting to be a leaked Super Bowl advertisement for new AI hardware was a complete hoax. The fake clip, which circulated on Reddit, depicted actor Alexander Skarsgård interacting with a shiny orb and wraparound earbuds. President Greg Brockman dismissed the leak as “fake news” after reports revealed the hoaxer attempted to pay influencers to spread the fabricated story.
