A new Commerce and Future Commerce survey shows that AI platforms are surpassing traditional channels for product research among younger shoppers. Gen Z (33%) and Millennials (26%) now prefer AI tools over search engines, social media, or influencers, with nearly half using AI daily. Among other findings, 23% of Gen Z and 27% of Millennials trust AI recommendations more than human ones, while 48% of all consumers keep a perpetual shopping list.
