Uber has agreed to acquire Blacklane, a Berlin-based premium chauffeur service founded in 2011 that operates in over 500 cities across 60+ countries and serves executives and corporate travelers worldwide, for an undisclosed amount. The deal accelerates Uber's recently announced Uber Elite chauffeur offering and builds on the strong growth of its pre-booked Uber Reserve trips, which have become one of the fastest-growing parts of its mobility business. The acquisition is expected to close by end of 2026 pending regulatory approval.
