TRG, an enterprise device-lifecycle management company backed by private equity firm Gemspring Capital, acquired Barcode Supply, a barcode, RFID, labeling, and data-capture provider, for undisclosed terms. Barcode Supply, which started in 2003 in Greensboro, Georgia, sells scanners, printers, labels, RFID gear, and asset-tracking software, serving manufacturing, warehousing, healthcare, food and beverage, logistics, and public-sector customers. TRG says the deal broadens its endpoint lifecycle platform, from sourcing and deployment through repair and retirement, and deepens its footprint in the US Southeast. Barcode Supply CEO Jason Littleton and his team will stay on under TRG, which is based in Cleveland with operations across North America, Europe, and Latin America.
