Tower Semiconductor, an Israeli analog foundry, announced a collaboration with Nvidia to produce high-performance silicon photonics for 1.6T data center optical modules. The company is optimizing its technology to support Nvidia’s networking protocols, enabling double the data rates of previous solutions.
