Tillo acquired Amilon, an Italian digital gift card and incentives company, for an undisclosed price. Founded in 2007, Amilon was an early mover in digital gift cards in Italy, and it brings Tillo a foothold in employee benefits and European welfare schemes along with offices in Poland and Spain. Tillo runs an API that connects businesses to over 4,000 brands across 40 markets and 25 currencies, and the two say their combined platforms should move more than £3 billion of gift cards this year, roughly 30% above last year. Andrea Verri and Fabio Regazzoni, who co-founded Amilon and run it as co-CEOs, are reinvesting in the merged company and will stay on leading Amilon under Tillo Group.
