An Amazon employee, a 58-year-old man, collapsed while working at the company’s warehouse in Goodyear, Arizona, on Sunday morning and died at the scene after coworkers and then arriving emergency crews tried to revive him. Goodyear police said there’s no sign so far of suspicious or criminal circumstances and that their investigation is open, with the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office set to determine how he died. Amazon closed what was left of the day’s shifts at the site and said it would bring in grief counselors for staff.
