TikTok Shop moved an estimated $50.3 billion in goods worldwide during the first half of 2026, close to double the $26.2 billion the same firm estimated for the year-earlier period, according to a Momentum Works report published August 6. The US supplied $11.8 billion of that and has overtaken Indonesia as the biggest market, up from $5.8 billion. The number of US stores grew to 1.35 million from 475,000, and 5,700 of them cleared $1 million in sales, with 506 above $10 million. The Shop tab, where people browse instead of watch, produced 51.4% of attributed GMV, against 40.4% for video and 8.2% for livestreams. Average prices dropped in 21 of 27 categories. Momentum Works based the estimates on platform data from Tabcut plus its own research.
