SupplyOne, a North American packaging distributor with more than 60 locations, bought Packaging Design Corporation, a family-owned maker of custom corrugated packaging in Burr Ridge, Illinois, for an undisclosed price and is keeping owner Scott Jones in charge. The deal is SupplyOne’s 49th since 1998 and its second in the Chicago area, following its purchase of Wertheimer Box late last year. Packaging Design, founded in 1968, makes e-commerce and subscription boxes, branded retail packaging, and in-store displays for customers across the Midwest and beyond.
