Stord acquired Shipwire from CEVA Logistics on January 1 to expand its global fulfillment network and technological capabilities. The deal added 12 new locations and provided stronger access to markets in the EU and U.K. while integrating Shipwire's AI-enabled platform into Stord's ecosystem. CEO Sean Henry stated the move aimed to position the company as a dominant AI leader following previous acquisitions of Ware2Go and Pitney Bowes E-Commerce Fulfillment.
