StockX, the Detroit-based resale marketplace known for sneakers and collectibles, is launching StockX Live, a livestream auction service rolling out this summer. Buyers will bid in real-time auctions starting as low as $1 and enter free giveaways across sneakers, apparel, trading cards, collectibles, and vintage fashion, with the platform selling pre-owned items for the first time alongside new ones. The launch drops StockX into a crowded live shopping race led by Whatnot, TikTok, and Poshmark, with eBay Live still playing catch-up, though it arrives with a ready-made base of sneaker, card, and collectible buyers, the very shoppers live commerce tends to draw.
