Squarespace is investing another €70 million in Ireland, where it has run a Dublin office since 2013, with the money going toward research and development for new products and global expansion. The commitment builds on a plan Squarespace laid out in February 2025 to hire more than 120 people in Dublin by 2027, mostly engineers and product staff, which would take its Irish workforce past 400. The company hasn’t attached any new hiring target to the €70 million. Colm MacCarvill, who heads Squarespace Ireland, said the company is pairing its design tools with AI and new commerce features for entrepreneurs.
