Odeko, which supplies more than 30,000 independent US coffee shops and runs their ordering software, acquired Nantel McDiarmid, a Montreal distributor of food and drinks, for undisclosed terms in its first deal outside the US. The two have a relationship going back to 2019, when Nantel McDiarmid started doing business with a US specialty distributor that Odeko later bought. Nantel McDiarmid’s roughly 3,500 Canadian business customers will now get Odeko’s ordering platform, while Odeko’s US cafés will be able to order from the Canadian company’s specialty catalog.
