Microsoft is reorganizing its Copilot division by unifying its consumer and commercial product teams under Jacob Andreou, who previously served as corporate vice president of product and growth at Microsoft AI. The restructuring frees up AI chief Mustafa Suleyman to focus on building new AI models, who said the move will “enable me to focus all my energy on our Superintelligence efforts and be able to deliver world-class models for Microsoft over the next five years.” The reorganization comes as Microsoft faces growing competitive pressure from Google's Gemini and Anthropic's Claude, while its M365 Copilot business has reached 15 million annual users at $30 per month.
