Meta’s Muse app passed 5 million downloads in its first 22 days, even though it’s only offered to users in the US and Canada, according to Sensor Tower estimates reported by Yahoo Finance. ChatGPT needed 56 days to reach that mark, Grok needed 103 and Claude needed 492, and just 23 apps have ever gotten there that quickly. More than 3 million people send Muse at least one prompt a week, and more than 4 million use it in some way, according to Meta figures that Jyoti Mann at The Information reviewed. CEO Mark Zuckerberg said at Connect that Muse will stay free, and that Meta will make its money by charging a small fee on transactions users complete through the app.
