Meta is testing agentic features in its AI business assistant that let advertisers plan and launch campaigns, generate images and copy, change targeting and shift budgets by typing instructions, and hand it recurring jobs like weekly performance recaps and budget reminders. Meta says advertisers using the assistant already see 5% more conversions without paying more for each one, and by the end of 2026 it plans to let brands describe their ideal customer in plain language and have Ads Manager suggest audiences to match. Separately, Meta and Shopify are trialing a direct checkout inside the Meta Business Agent on Messenger, so shoppers can buy a Shopify product without leaving the chat, along with similar checkout tests in Meta AI involving Adyen, PayPal and Stripe.
