Google launches Search profiles, a claimable page that lets publishers and creators shape how their work shows up in Search

Google is launching Search profiles, a single shareable page where publishers and creators can shape how they appear in Search and give readers one spot to track a source's recent articles, clips, and posts. Anyone can follow a source straight from its profile and then see more of its work surface in Discover, and the profiles are reachable through a knowledge panel, a tap from Discover, or a direct link. To start, publishers and creators with a sizable following on at least one major social or video platform can claim and customize their profile, a step that may also generate a knowledge panel for those who don't already have one. It is rolling out in the U.S. first, with wider expansion and added features planned.
